CUATRO RAYAS VIÑEDOS CENTENARIOS BACCHUS SILVER 2010

Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios, wine commemorating the 75th anniversary of the prestigious winery in DO Rueda, has been awarded it’s first international success by obtaining the SILVER MEDAL at the IX BACCHUS INTERNATIONAL; contest covered by the OIV

Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios was introduced to the market in early January 2010 as a high-end wine, with a very limited production since it is made of that centuries-old vineyards, these were the vineyards mostly contributed by the founders of the winery in 1935. This wines comes from centenarian bosh vines, harvested by hand, with an output of about 3.000 kg. per hectare. This results in the pure essence of Verdejo; with balsamic notes, anise and fresh hay, but with great smoothness and power on the palate thanks to the removed for lees for five months.
