Cuatro Rayas begins to export its wines in haute cuisine restaurants in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guanzhou.

 Valladolid, June 24, 2010. - The winery located at the heart of the D.O. Rueda continues to strengthen its sales abroad.  Following Japan and Malaysia, markets loyal to the brand, Cuatro Rayas now begins to distribute its wines in China.

 One of the most important importers in that country has selected Cuatro Rayas Viñedos Centenarios as the Verdejo wine to be offered in haute cuisine restaurants in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guanzhou.  The winery thus becomes one of the few of the denomination with a presence in the Chinese market.

   Today, Cuatro Rayas is present in over 35 countries, including United States, Germany, Russia, and Japan.  According to Guillermo Perez, the winery‘s Commercial Director, "the next steps in the Asian market are centered in India, South Korea, and Taiwan, countries where negotiations are presently very advanced".  In this fashion, Cuatro Rayas also contributes to the growth of the D.O. Rueda, supporting the plan for internationalization currently underway.
