CUATRO RAYAS INCREASES SALES 14.9% IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2011

La Seca (Valladolid), March 8, 2011. - The Cuatro Rayas Winery from the Rueda denomination has exceeded its financial objectives for the first quarter of 2011.  Sales in the first quarter were up 14.9% from the same quarter last year.  

      "The key to this growth is based mainly on this year‘s successful exports.  Travel and trade shows are paying off", said Guillermo Perez, the Winery‘s Sales Director.  The quarterly growth rate in this channel is up 28.9% from last year.

    The Winery‘s forecasts are bullish and it aims to surpass the 11 million bottles that hit the market in 2010, focusing its business strategy on the Cuatro Rayas line, with its star Verdejo wine complemented by a Sauvignon Blanc, a Barrel-Fermented wine, a Sparkling wine, and the most stellar Verdejo, the Cuatro Rayas Centennial Vineyards wine.
